Pack 39 Home

Welcome to Pack 39's website. Pack 39 is an Austin, Texas based pack, chartered by Bridgepoint Elementary. The pack, which was originally chartered in 1995, meets monthly during the school year in the cafeteria at Bridgepoint Elementary, 6401 Cedar Street, Austin, Texas.

Inside our website, you will find many useful links to our pack calendar, activities and organization. You will also find numerous link to scouting resources, including planning activities and district level training opportunities. Pack Meeting - The next pack meeting is on July 21st at 5:00pm. Comes prepared for Pack 39's annual Bowling at the Union party.
New Scouts - Anyone interested in joining our Pack can either get in touch with Robert Gold at (512) 970-3745 or via email at cubmaster@pack39.org. New scouts are also welcome to attend this Pack meeting.

Pack T-Shirts - Official Pack 39 T-shirts are available for purchase for $10 each. They are available in children's and adult sizes. Shirts can be purchased by getting in touch with Rhonda Milan at (512) 328-1778.

February 24, 2008 - Blue and Gold / Arrow of Light
On February 24th, Pack 39 said goodbye to its Webelos II's, who moved on to Boy Scouts during the annual Arrow of Light ceremony. 12 scouts transitioned out of Pack 39; we wish each of those scouts the best of luck in their new challenges as Boy Scouts. This year's ceremony went off without a hitch as all present witnessed the flaming arrow start the campfire and each of the boys crossing the bridge into Boy Scouts.

Pack 39 also held it's annual Blue and Gold banquet that night. Attendance was phenomenal as everyone ate food from Papasito's and were entertained with a puppet/comedy show. Congratulations to the Webelos I's in Den 6 who earned their Webelos Badge and the Bear scout s who earned the Bear rank.

January 27, 2008 - Pinewood Derby
Pack 39's annual Pinewood Derby was held today. Great attendance, fast cars and cool designs were the theme of the day. After Trophies for the best designs were awarded and the speed competition between the scouts was intense. In the end, it was Preston H. taking home 1st place. The top five finishers of the Pack were:

3rd - Wes M.

4th - Colin A.

5th - Noah P.

Congratulations to all the boys who took home prizes in their respective ranks.

January 14, 2008 - Pack Meeting
Tonight's meeting was a well organized, fun event at which advancement awards were presented by Pack leadership. After awards, the boys made leather neckerchief slides.

December 10, 2007 - Pack Meeting
Tonight Pack 39 held its annual Air Show. A large contingent was present to participate in Accuracy, Distance and Time Aloft competitions. The scouts who were present also participated in a drawing for one of nine radio controlled planes.
